Ursula Kinley is the head Trainer of Crazy K9's in Perris, CA. Ursula helps her clients understand and effectively communicate with their dogs through proven training techniques taught by the leading DogTrainers and Behaviorists in the world. She see's each dog as an individual, some quick to follow the cookie cutter approach, while others require a little more in depth study and action to diminish unwanted behavior.
Ursula grew up with dogs, however she got more serious about training overall as an adult when she and her first border collie Sassy, took the jump into the world of dog sports. They trained in agility and flyball and there Ursula found a new understanding of the bond between human and canine. For many years she competed with Pawdemonium Flyball Club, where she oversaw their “Training” and began studying canine nutrition and conditioning. In 1996, Ursula utilized her knowledge & training skills and started teaching classes as part of her flyball club’s recruitment needs. That is when she caught the training bug, began studying behavior and drive building and branched out, she formed her own flyball team called Rev it Up and started teaching Flyball and Pet Dog Agility classes at A Dog's Life Dog Daycare in Sunnyvale and Mountain View, CA.
In 2002, Ursula got bit by the dock jumping bug when she saw it at Golden Gate Park as part of the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge. There were no trainers in the northern California at that time, so Ursula took from her experience, learned all she could about dock jumping and passed it on to others. When she was not competing with her own dogs on the dock or training others, Ursula could be found sharing her passion and knowledge for dogs and the sport by working as an Event Organizer and Announcer for Splash Dogs for several years.
Ursula's family of dogs are an example of her work. She strives to bring as much drive and passion out of her dogs as she has for the sports they enjoy together. Ursula's family of dogs vary in breed, size and lineage, or lack there of. Many are rescues, who have defied their meek beginnings and soared with her guidance. She is not in dog sports for the titles, for Ursula it is truly about spending time with her best friends (the dogs), a few good people and of course sharing her passion.
TRAINING SUMMARY - Ursula's skills and knowledge include a clear understanding of Operant and Classical Conditioning, Rewards based training, Canine Nutrition & Conditioning, Canine Behavior and Massage. She has learned and continues her education through study and seminars put on by the top trainers, behaviorists and experts in the dog training and sport industry.

Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge
In 2015, Ursula and her mixed breed dog Aries won the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge Western Regional Diving Dog Championship. Not only did Aries podium once at that event but he also came in 2nd place in the Western Regional Fetch It Championship.
